Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.

Pray for revival now in Columbus, Ohio. I go to a megachurch that believes in the Bible as the Word of God. But I am sure that what is happening can go much further. In fact, I believe "They ain't seen anything yet" as they have the inspiration from God to believe in revival. I started praying at the beginning of this year: "God, bring a powerful Holy Ghost revival and let it begin in me!" I would also request for prayer for All members of the megachurch where I am a member especially its leaders and it's foreign missionaries who are in some very dangerous locations in North Africa, North Asia, South America! God wants to bring revival and I can but marvel at what has happened to me so far and how it's seeming to reach out already to the clergy at this church! I have been reading about all the dedication of what brought about the Welsh revival and I get so excited sometimes I break out in tears! Please pray for me as I feel a lack of strength to do as much as what could be done. It's not a one person deal! It HAS to be the work of the Holy Ghost to MAKE it happen! BTW I am Pentecostal background!
