God Has Heard!

Psalm 106:2 says, “Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord, or declare all his praise?”

As we look back and reflect on 2017, I think all of us can say with the psalmist that God has done so many mighty deeds. God has done great things for us. Both corporately and privately there have been many prayers that God has heard and answered.

As we press on, we still pray for revival. We are still interceding for so many different things on so many different levels. But he has already answered so many of our prayers!

We have prayed for Israel. For the first time in American history our President declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. This surely is an answer to prayer.

God is being brought back into our government. There is once again Presidential prayer in the Oval Office as well as White House cabinet Bible studies every week. This surely is an answer to prayer.

For a long time we have persevered in prayer for the unborn children of this land, and God has given us a pro-life President and Vice President who are undoing the past administrations support of Planned Parenthood. This surely is an answer to prayer.

In the courts we have seen congressional prayer upheld. In our culture we are seeing Christ being brought back into Christmas. In the church, we have heard testimonies from pastors saying that they have seen a unity in the body of Christ as they have never seen before. All this is surely an answer to prayer.

We are seeing many victories that are being won in the prayer closet. God truly has been so good to us. He has shown great mercy on this country. He has done and is continuing to do many miracles in our land. He has answered so many of our prayers!

“Who can utter the mighty deeds of the Lord, or declare all his praise?”

We must continue to raise our voices in prayer once again. Do not lose heart! Pray with the knowledge that God cares and is hearing our prayers!!

As we pray we must not forget that the God to whom we pray is high and lifted up, glorious and wonderful — to whom every knee will bow and every tongue confess that he is Lord. Our God sits on the throne before the hosts of Heaven. To Him and Him alone the angels cry, “Holy, Holy, Holy!” He is so completely holy!

Our God hears our prayers. He inclines his ear when we speak, and He tells us to come with confidence before His throne of grace.

Truly our great and mighty God has heard the prayers of His servants this past year, and He is ready to hear us again today. He will not cease to listen to the humble cries of His servants crying out for mercy!
